Highway to bankruptcy

27.09.2003– The Ukrainian Football Federation (FFU) and the Polish Football Association (PZPN) signed an agreement in Lviv on cooperation in joint efforts for Euro 2012. At the time no one expected that this dream could come true in less than a decade. However, efforts have begun to gain the greatest possible support in the soccer world for the combined candidature of the two Slavic countries in the center of Europe.

18.04.2007– The UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Cardiff decided to entrust the organization of the European Football Championship 2012 to Poland and Ukraine.
